How Solar Works
.) Silicon Photovoltaic cells cluster together to form a solar panel and absorb solar radiation from the sun.
.) Wires connected to the panel transport the electricity to the inverter. The inverter converts the electricity from a direct current to an alternating current.
.) After the inverter converts the currents, the electricity is transported to the main panel box to support your home energy usage.
.) The excess electricity that your home does not use is sent back to the grid to store as a credit for your home when it needs to use it at nightime or on a rainy day.
